The specialists of TMC Group presented the pipes corrosion protection technologies at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield for the representatives of Khanty-Mansiysk branch of RussNeft.
The meeting took place at the production site, where the TMC Group demonstration vehicle arrived, equipped with hardware for a visual presentation of our state-of-the-art technologies in the field.
- We demonstrated to our Siberian colleagues the technology of clamping stainless steel bits on the metal-plastic pipe to protect the welded joint," said Alexei Starostin, deputy head of pipeline product development department of TMC Group.
- We also showed the technology of semi-automatic welding in shielding gas environment. They were higly interested in our capabilities, and are going to consider the technology for possible application.
Note that, since last year, the TMC Group demonstration car has travelled through all the regions of Russia. The advantages of the offered technologies were presented during the on-site visits of more than 45 customers - divisions of Rosneft, Lukoil, Gazpromneft, Neftisa and others. This promoting tool allows the company to stay close to customers, and it has already shown its efficiency.
