External corrosion-resistant coating of steel pipes based on powder materials
TMC Group Managing Company LLC provides external corrosion-resistant coating of steel pipes based on powder materials (TU 1390-018-67740692-2017, TU 24.20.13-135-78682242-2023).
Details
External corrosion-resistant coating of steel pipes based on powder materials
Purpose
Polymeric anticorrosive coating based on powder materials is intended for the protection of steel pipelines for various purposes from aggressive corrosive impact of the environment.
Field of application
- Pipes with polymeric powder coating are intended for:
- underground laying in areas where it is not possible to apply external polyethylene insulation due to high pipeline operating temperature;
- above-ground laying;
- protection of "ground-to-air" transitions.
Advantages
- The coating is resistant to ultraviolet and thermal aging, does not crack during the entire service life;
- High resistance to atmospheric and soil corrosion, as well as to cathodic disbandment;
- Wide range of colors;
- Can be applied as a part of more complex combined heat-insulating and anticorrosive coatings;
- Pipeline Installation with polymeric powder coating can be performed in all weather conditions.
At the customer's request, the inner surface of the pipe can be lined with a polyethylene pipe with stainless steel pitching (for external laying or for ground-to-air transition); an internal paint-and-lacquer coating can be applied or combined with thermal insulation
The service life of steel pipes with external polymeric powder coating is more than 20 years.
